Aston arrived at decorating as a second career. After 12 years of teaching high school English, Aston took a risk and left education to work for a local contractor and decorate on the side for a handful of clients. This experience in the construction world gave her insight into what clients need to finish their space and make it feel polished and complete. In 2017, Aston went out on her own to create Aston Moody Interiors, and five years later, she has served hundreds of clients, hired a wonderful assistant, and helped create TheColaEclectic shopping site and event. Aston has expanded her services to all corners of her home city Columbia, SC, uses Edesign to serve distance clients, and will travel for projects as well. Aston believes in mixing patterns, layering in color, and that more is always more.
